Instructions for Nominators:

NOMINATIONS for applicants must be completed online. The nomination letter from the applicant organization’s chief executive or agency director will demonstrate confidence in the applicant’s leadership potential as well as the extent to which the organization is prepared to support the applicant’s continued success within the organization.

NCLI Fellows will be working on a 5-month project, so the nominator should consider a major issue within the organization that the Fellow could work on during their participation in NCLI. The nomination should include a brief description of this issue.

Each eligible organization may nominate as many as three individuals. Nominators are encouraged to indicate their first, second, and third preference on the nomination form page (that follows). Alternately the nominator may select no preference for their nominees.

The nomination letter must be saved and submitted in MS Word (.doc), rich text format (.rtf), or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) using the following naming convention:
applicant lastname-firstname_organization_nomination
Example: brown-sue_PenguinsForever_nomination.doc

All information submitted is completely confidential. If you encounter any problems with the online process, please call 304.876.7797.
